What’s changing?
Due to recent regulations, all clinics—including ours—are not allowed to dispense medications in single-use syringes. This is out of our control and is not exclusive to Revive. If someone is dispensing medication in syringes, they will not be for long, and will face stiff penalties should they continue that could potentially include the patient.
What does this mean for you?
From now on, your medications will be ordered through our partnered pharmacy and shipped to either: Your home in a vial ($35 shipping fee), OR to our office for free pickup. Each shipment will include all necessary supplies and clear instructions for use. Our pharmacy partners currently estimate a 5–7 day turnaround. To be safe, please plan for up to 10 days when requesting refills.
Why vials?
Vials help ensure continued sterility. Additionally, this update allows for easier dose adjustments and more customization in your treatment. We're excited to offer this improvement in care.
Refill Process:
1. Submit your refill request. Indicate if you would like it shipped to your home or pickup in office. *If shipping to your home - carefully input your shipping address. Once your order is entered, the shipping address can not be changed. If you enter the wrong shipping address we will not be able to do anything and the order will ship to that address.
2. We’ll send an invoice you can pay online. Once payment is received and the order is approved, your medication will be ordered.
3. If it’s been more than 90 days since your last provider visit, we now have to option to schedule a telehealth appointment for your convenience.
4. IMPORTANT: We will call you when we receive the medication. Keep in mind we have NO controll over the pharmacies. Once we place the order, it is in their hands. Delivery times could be a lot quicker or a bit slower. We will do everything we can to get your medication to you in a timely manner but we will need your help in planning so that we ensure you do not run out. This should smooth out in the near future and be more predictable. These changes have made it more difficult for them to keep up as well.
TIP: An easy way to remember when to order your refill is when you take your second to last dose, or week 3 dose of whatever injectable medication you are prescribed, go ahead and put in your refill request so we can get the ball rolling.A note on refill timing: Vials may contain slightly more medication than prefilled syringes, potentially reducing how often you’ll need a refill.Thank you and let us know if you have any questions!
